Saint-Seurin-de-Cursac is a French municipality with 774 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and the canton L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton Blaye ). The inhabitants are called Severinois .
geography
Saint-Seurin-de-Cursac is located near the estuary of the Gironde , about 36 kilometers north of Bordeaux . Saint-Seurin-de-Cursac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fours in the north, Mazion in the northeast, Saint-Paul in the east and southeast, Saint-Martin-Lacaussade in the southwest and Saint-Genès-de-Blaye in the west.
The former route nationale 137 (today's D937) runs through the municipality .
