Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye is a French commune with 1,973 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and is part of the canton of Le Nord-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Saint-Savin ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Christolyens .

Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye is located about 33 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Saint-Christoly-de-Blaye is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saugon in the north, Saint-Savin in the east and northeast, Civrac-de-Blaye in the east and southeast, Saint-Vivien-de-Blaye in the south, Teuillac and Berson in the southwest as well Saint-Girons-d'Aiguevives to the west.
The A10 car route runs along the eastern edge of the municipality .
