Saint-Yzan-de-Soudiac ( Occitan : Sent Dicenç ) is a French municipality with 2380 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and is part of the canton of Le Nord-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Saint-Savin ). The inhabitants are called Soudiacais .

geography

Saint-Yzan-de-Soudiac is located about 36 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . The Saye flows along the eastern border of the municipality . Saint-Yzan-de-Soudiac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Savin in the north and west, Bussac-Forêt in the east and northeast, Laruscade in the east and southeast and Saint-Mariens in the south.
