Peujard Town Hall

Peujard is a French commune with 2,173 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Blaye and the canton of Le Nord-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Saint-André-de-Cubzac ). The inhabitants are called Peujardais .

geography

Peujard is about 25 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Peujard is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cubnezais in the north, Gauriaguet in the east, Val de Virvée in the south-east, Virsac in the south, Saint-Laurent-d'Arce in the west and south-west and Cézac in the north-west.

The municipality is located between the A10 autoroute on the western edge of the municipality and Route nationale 10 on the eastern edge of the municipality.
