Mombrier is a town in southwestern France and a municipality with 423 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the north of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and the canton L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton Bourg ). The inhabitants are called Lansacais .

location

Mombrier is located in the historical province of Angoumois in the cultural landscape of the Charente and at the same time in the vineyards of the Côtes de Bourg wine-growing region . Mombrier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Teuillac in the north, Pugnac in the east, Lansac in the south, Samonac in the west and south-west and Saint-Trojan in the north-west.
