Gauriaguet Town Hall

Gauriaguet is a French commune with 1,283 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Gironde department in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Blaye and the canton of Le Nord-Gironde (until 2015: canton of Saint-André-de-Cubzac ). The inhabitants are called Gauriaguetains .

geography

Gauriaguet is located about 26 kilometers north-northeast of Bordeaux . Gauriaguet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cubnezais in the north and northwest, Marsas in the east and northeast, Val de Virvée in the south and east and Peujard in the west.

Route nationale 10 runs along the western edge of the municipality .
