Saint-Palais is a municipality with 505 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Blaye and the canton of L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton of Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Cyriens .
geography
Saint-Palais is about 53 kilometers north of Bordeaux . Saint-Palais is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pleine-Selve in the north, Boisredon in the east, Val-de-Livenne in the south-east, Saint-Ciers-sur-Gironde in the south and west and Saint-Bonnet-sur-Gironde in the north-west.
