Prignac-et-Marcamps ( Occitan : Prinhac e Marcamps ) is a town in southwestern France and a municipality with 1,379 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gironde department in the north of the Aquitaine region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and the canton L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton Bourg ). The inhabitants are called Prignacais .

Prignac-et-Marcamps is located in the historic province of Angoumois in the Charente cultural landscape on the north bank of the Dordogne river . Prignac-et-Marcamps is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tauriac in the north, Saint-Laurent-d'Arce in the east and northeast, Saint-Gervais in the east and southeast, Saint-Vincent-de-Paul in the south, Ambès in the southwest and Bourg in the West.

- Pair-non-Pair cave, archaeological site with a Neolithic period (approx. 30,000 before today) and numerous cave carvings, monument historique
