Campugnan is a French municipality with 496 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Gironde in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Aquitaine ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement Blaye and the canton L'Estuaire (until 2015: canton Blaye ).
geography
Campugnan is located near the estuary of the Gironde , about 38 kilometers north of Bordeaux . Campugnan is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Reignac in the north and northeast, Générac in the east, Saint-Paul in the south and Cartelègue in the west and northwest.
