Hermann Paepke's children have now grown up and he thinks that he can finally spend more time with his wife Hertha again. Far from it, instead, Hertha is holding onto her youngest son Ulf, because her first son Benno hardly lets anything be heard from him after his wedding and she is worried about losing Ulf too. His father makes sure that he makes female acquaintance, but notices to his astonishment that Ulf is already good with women. After all, it is Benno who wants to stay with his mother Hertha again because he has problems with his wife.
