Uta Schorn (actress)
Uta Schorn (born January 13, 1947 in Göggingen near Augsburg ) is a German actress and presenter .
Life
origin
Uta Schorn was born in Augsburg-Göggingen as the daughter of actor Joe Schorn and actress Traudi Harprecht. Shortly afterwards the family moved to Bremen and a little later to East Berlin , where Joe Schorn got an engagement at the Metropol-Theater .
Education and theater
Uta Schorn studied from 1966 to 1970 at the State Drama School Berlin, today the "Ernst Busch" Berlin Dramatic Academy . At the beginning of her career she played at the Maxim-Gorki-Theater in Berlin , including in the youth revue Wenn Knospen knallen , in 1972 in the world premiere of the play Himmelfahrt zur Erde by Armin Stolper (* 1934), in The Ordinary Miracle by Evgeni Schwarz (1973) , each directed by Wolfram Krempel , and in Adam and Eve by Peter Hacks .
She had other theater engagements at the Landesbühnen Sachsen in Radebeul , at the Landestheater Halle ( Der torn Rubel by Sergei Antonow , Little Man - what next? ), At the Moritzburg TV Theater in Halle (Saale) (among others in Ludwig Thomas Waldfrieden and Paralyzed Schwingen , 1979, as well as in Klabunds XYZ - Ein Spiel zu Dreien , 1980, productions: Robert Trösch ) and at the Theater im Palast der Republik ( World and Dream of Hieronymus Bosch by Rosemarie Schuder ; Biedermann und die Brandstifter , director: Cox Habbema ). As a presenter and performer, she also appeared in Berlin's Friedrichstadtpalast .
In 1995, Schorn played the role of Buhlschaft at the Berliner Jedermann Festival in the Berlin Cathedral, directed by Brigitte Grothum . In 2001 she appeared at the Dresden comedy in the tabloid Weekend im Paradies . In October / November 2006 she took on the role of Miss Schneider in a production of the musical Cabaret in Media City in Leipzig .
In the 2015/16 season, Schorn was on a theater tour with the comedy Be Dear to My Wife by René Heinersdorff ; she stepped u. a. in the Theater Vorpommern and at the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau . In November 2016, she appeared in the crime comedy Fish for four at the Berlin Criminal Theater .
Movie and TV
Schorn made her film debut at DEFA in 1969 with the role of Renate in the spy film Suspicion of a Dead . After that she played occasionally in other DEFA productions, mostly in supporting roles. She became known in particular through her work for the German television network (DFF) in the GDR. From the 1970s she worked in several episodes of the GDR crime series Polizeiruf 110 . Schorn was used in various roles; she often embodied “self-confident women who go their own way in life”, especially in her leading role in the series as a single doctor. Uta Federau in the doctor series Readiness Dr. Federau (1988). She also had a leading role in the television series With Heart and Robe (1991).
At the side of Gerd E. Schäfer , she hosted the program Der Wunschbriefkasten for almost 18 years .
After the reunification Schorn managed to switch to all-German television relatively quickly; she took on several leading serial roles, such as the restaurant owner Sabine Boehling in the ZDF series Elbflorenz , as Anna Frohner in the ZDF series Der Landarzt and as midwife Henriette in the ZDF series Frauenarzt Dr. Markus Merthin . From 1998 to the end of 2014 she played the chief secretary Barbara Grigoleit in the ARD series In all friendship , from 2003 to 2019 she embodied the character of Inge Kleist (previously: March) in the ARD series Familie Dr. Kleist . In 2008, in the romantic television film Summer of Decision from the ZDF television series Inga Lindström , Schorn was seen in the role of Irma Wilander, the wife of the brewery owner Olof Wilander.
Private
Uta Schorn was the wife of actor Tim Hoffmann (1943–2015) for 16 years . Her daughter Danne Suckel , born in 1968 , also works as an actress. Until his death in 2018, Uta Schorn was married to the actor Peter Zintner . She lives in Berlin .
