Nicolas "Nick" St-Pierre (born March 7, 1985 in La Pocatière , Québec ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who was last under contract with the EC KAC in the Erste Bank Ice Hockey League .

Career

St-Pierre began playing ice hockey near his home. In Hawkesbury he was on the ice for the local club until he was 20. In 2005 he switched to the university team at Colgate University , where he played for four years, but could not achieve any significant success with the team. In 2009 , the Canadian signed his first professional contract with the Syracuse Crunch , where he had already played a few missions the previous season. However, this season went differently for him than expected. So the defender was ultimately used at four different clubs. Also because of these circumstances, St-Pierre decided to leave North America to play in Europe in the future. For the 2010/11 season , the Czech extra division HC Plzeň 1929 took him under contract. With this move, continuity returned to his career. The Canadian defended for the club for a total of three years. The highlight of this station followed in the 2012/13 season when the Czech championship title was won. Despite this success and missions in the first line of defense, his expiring contract was not extended.

In May 2013, the Krefeld Penguins announced the Canadian's commitment. He signed a one-year contract.
