Nicola Schößler (* 1973 ) is a German actress .

Life

Nicola Schößler is the daughter of an architect. She grew up in Darmstadt and sang in the children's choir at the state theater there . She made her first experiences with acting at the Justus-Liebig-Gymnasium, where she also passed the Abitur. From 1993 to 1997 Schößler studied acting at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen . Between 1997 and 2007 she took various courses with Ariane Mnouchkine and Jurij Alschitz , among others, and from 2004 to 2007 she attended the Alexander Technique School .

Schößler's first engagements took him to the Schauspielhaus Bochum and the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus in 1997 . In 2000 she participated in Peter Stein's Faust project . Since the mid-2000s, Schößler has appeared frequently at Berlin theaters, for example at the Schaubühne on Lehniner Platz , at the Deutsches Theater , at Hebbel am Ufer , in the Sophiensælen or in today's theater in Schokohof . Further stages of her stage career were the State Theater Mainz , the State Theater Tübingen , the State Theater Hanover , the Theater Freiburg , the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg and in Vienna the Theater Garage X , the Konzerthaus and the dance festival ImPulsTanz . In 2016 Schößler was a guest at the Styrian Autumn .

Nicola Schößler first appeared in front of the camera in 1997 in an episode of the Stadtklinik series . She achieved greater fame above all in the role of Lulu Simone Simon in Heimat 3 - Chronicle of a turning point , the third part of Edgar Reitz 's Heimat trilogy . In addition to guest roles in well-known television series, she appeared in two episodes of the Tatort series .

Schößler has been teaching at the School for Alexander Technique since 2007. She is fluent in English and French and has been the mother of a daughter since 2014. In a relationship with an Austrian, Schößler currently has a second in Vienna in addition to her residence in Berlin.
