Nicole Haase (* 1957 in Berlin ) is a German actress .

Life

Nicole Haase began her theater career at the age of 19 at the Magdeburg Puppet Theater . There she worked as a puppeteer, but was also employed as an assistant director and dramaturge. Haase studied theater studies for four semesters at the Leipzig Theater Academy , and from 1979 to 1982 she graduated from the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . She made her stage debut during her training at the Berliner Ensemble in the play Blue Horses on Red Grass by Michail Schatrow , which was also recorded for GDR television and broadcast in 1980. After completing her studies, Haase went to the Berlin Maxim-Gorki-Theater , to which she belonged for 13 years.

Freelance since 1995, she has performed at various stages, for example at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam , at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne Anklam , at the Theater im Rathaus in Essen, at the New Theater Halle as well as in her native city at the Tribüne , the Volksbühne and the Theater im Palais . Foreign guest appearances have taken Haase to the Sarnen Theater in Switzerland and the Luxembourg Casemate Theater . In 2016 she was seen in the world premiere of the play Birkenbiegen by the playwright Oliver Bukowski at the Neue Bühne Senftenberg . In addition, Haase has been giving readings for many years, including at the Theater am Rand in Zollbrücke , directed by Thomas Rühmann and Tobias Morgenstern , and at the reading theater she founded in Berlin.

Besides many other parts Haase played Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare , Tsvetaeva in the lower middle class of Maxim Gorky , Lucille in The Unknown from the Seine by Odon von Horváth or Sidonie von Grasenabb in the Cooper -Stück The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant . In a touring production of the play Endspurt by Peter Ustinov , she and her fellow actor Charles Regnier appeared on stage over 220 times.

Occasionally Nicole Haase also works for television, for example in 1982 in Der Pferdeapfel und die Rose , a co-production of GDR television with the "Ernst Busch" drama school. She can also occasionally be seen as a guest actress in various series. She lives in Berlin.
