Nicole Nicoleitzik (born August 1, 1995 in Saarlouis , Saarland ) is a German athlete in the T36 starting class who specializes in short sprints .

career path

Nicoleitzik visited the Special Education and Advice Center (SBBZ) in Saarbrücken . She is an employee and works in an integrative drugstore.

Athletic career

Nicole Nicoleitzik competes in the same disciplines as her older sister Claudia and already fulfilled the C- squad standards in 2011 .

In 2012 Nicoleitzik took part in the Paralympic Youth Camp in London. In 2013 she won bronze three times at the IWAS World Junior Games in Mayaguez (Puerto Rico) , in the 100  and 200 meter run and in the long jump. In 2014 and 2015 Nicoleitzik became International German U20 Champion in these three disciplines.

In 2014 she won gold at the IWAS World Junior Games in Stoke Mandeville in the 4 x 100 meter relay with Vanessa Braun , Uta Streckert and Julia Koball as well as in the long jump and bronze over 200 meters and came in 4 . Rank. In 2015 Nicoleitzik was U23 vice world champion on half the stadium lap at the IWAS World Junior Games in Stadskanaal and came fourth over 100 m and fifth in the long jump.

In 2016 Nicoleitzik won the runner-up in the long jump and reached 3rd place over 100 and 200 m. On August 1st, she found out about her nomination for the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where she took the long jump on the tenth, the 100-meter run with a personal best of 14.49 s on the twelfth, and four times -100 meter relay with Maria Seifert , her sister Claudia and Lindy Ave came in 4th place.

In 2018 Nicoleitzik won gold in the sprint distances of 100 and 200 meters at the IPC European Championships in Berlin .
