Nihad Pejković (born October 23, 1968 ) is a former Bosnian football goalkeeper and now a coach .
Player career
society
Pejković came to Slovenia in 1991 to join the NK Olimpija Ljubljana . For Olimpija he played over 200 games in the 1st SNL between 1991 and 2002 and was Slovenian champion four times. In 2002 he moved to league rivals NK Ljubljana . After 18 games for the club, Pejković joined the NK Mura in 2003 . In 2004 he moved to Greece for third division club AE Ptolemaida-Lignitorichoi . In January 2006 he moved to the second division club FC Kastoria before ending his career in the summer of the same year.
National team
Pejković played two games for the Bosnian national team between 1998 and 1999 .
Coaching career
After the end of his career, Pejković worked as a goalkeeping coach for the Slovenian national team from 2007 . In January 2014 he became the goalkeeping coach of the Slovenian first division club NK Krka .
For the 2016/17 season he took over the same position at the Austrian second division club SV Horn . After separating from Masanori Hamayoshi in May 2017, he took over the post of head coach together with Christoph Westerthaler . The interim coaching duo appeared until June 1, 2017 and was then replaced by Carsten Jancker and released from other duties.
