Nikki Bartlett (born June 25, 1987 in Cheltenham ) is a British duathlete and triathlete . She is European champion in the age group 25-29 on the triathlon middle distance (2014), Scottish triathlon champion (2016) and Ironman winner (2019).

Career

Nikki Bartlett studied in Birmingham and was successful in rowing as a student. In 2009 she was accepted by UK Sports in the national team "Girls For Gold Initiative" for Olympic sponsorship.

After several rib fractures, she switched to triathlon and started her first Ironman race in Bolton in 2011 (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running). In June 2013 she was runner-up in the 25-29 age group in France on the long-distance triathlon. She has been a professional athlete since 2015.

Scottish Champion Duathlon 2016

Nikki Bartlett has been trained by South African Rob Cheetham, Susie Cheetham's husband and trainer, since 2016 . In March 2016, the 28-year-old Scottish duathlon champion.

Ironman winner 2019

In May 2018 she finished third at the Ironman Lanzarote and in May 2019 the 31-year-old won the race.
