Nikola Vukčević ( Serbian - Cyrillic Никола Вукчевић ; born December 13, 1991 in Titograd , SFR Yugoslavia ), also known as Điđo (Ђиђо), is a Montenegrin football player . He has been under contract with the Levante UD since August 2018 and has been a Montenegrin national player since 2012 .

Career

society

Vukčević was taken over in 2010 in the first team of the Montenegrin club Budućnost Podgorica . For the 2011/12 season in the Prva Crnogorska Liga he was appointed team captain. In this season he won the championship with Budućnost. Vukčević also recommended himself for the Montenegrin U-21 selection at this time . During his time at Budućnost, he made 65 missions in which he scored four goals.

After his contract expired until summer 2013, he moved to Portugal for Sporting Braga on a free transfer . He made his debut on January 10, 2014 in the game against Vitória Guimarães . At Sporting Braga, Vukčević rose to become a regular after starting difficulties. He made 76 appearances in four seasons, scoring four goals.

On August 9, 2018, Vukčević moved to the Spanish club UD Levante in the Primera División . For the Montenegrin, his new employer had to transfer a transfer fee of 8.9 million euros to Braga.

National team

Vukčević made his debut for the Montenegrin national team on March 5, 2014 in a friendly against Ghana when he came on for Nemanja Nikolić in the 65th minute . On October 8, 2016, he scored his first international goal in a 5-0 home win over Kazakhstan in qualifying for the 2018 World Cup by scoring 2-0.
