Coke , real name Jorge Andújar Moreno (born April 26, 1987 in Madrid ), is a Spanish football player who has been under contract with the Levante UD since January 2018 .

Career

Having grown up in football at Rayo Vallecano , Coke moved up to the first team in 2005. In 2011 he rose with the club in the Primera División , the top division in Spain. In June 2011 he moved to league rivals FC Sevilla and signed a four-year contract. His first game for Sevilla FC was against Málaga CF when he came on for Fernando Navarro at half-time . He scored his first goal on March 17, 2012 in the game against Real Zaragoza . With Sevilla FC he won the Europa League three times in a row . In the 2016 final , he scored two goals in a 3-1 win over Liverpool FC . After coach Unai Emery left Sevilla FC in the summer of 2016, his successor Jorge Sampaoli no longer planned with Coke.

FC Schalke 04 signed him for the 2016/17 season with a contract that ran until June 30, 2019. During his first appearance on August 4, 2016 for Schalke in the friendly against FC Bologna , he suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his right knee. He was then used again for the first time in a test match against Hannover 96 in March 2017, and played his first competitive game for Schalke 04 on April 1 in the Revier derby against Borussia Dortmund (final score 1: 1).

In the 2017/18 season , Coke only made one appearance in the DFB Cup and a brief appearance in the league in the first half of the season under the new coach Domenico Tedesco .

On January 1, 2018, Coke returned to the Primera División and joined the newly promoted UD Levante on loan until the end of the season . By the end of the season he was used in 17 league games and scored three goals. For the 2018/19 season , the UD Levante finally acquired the transfer rights to Coke and provided him with a contract until June 30, 2022.
