Nirsching is part of the municipality of Büchlberg in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau .

The hamlet is located three kilometers northeast of Büchlberg on a communal road between the district roads PA 92 and PA 34 .

history

The place in the former bishopric of Passau fell with the secularization of 1803 with most of the high bishopric area to Archduke Ferdinand of Tuscany and only came to Bavaria in 1805. In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , the municipality of Nirsching was created with the municipal edict of 1818 . The districts of the former municipality were, in addition to Nirschling, Denkhof , Bärnreuth , Eberhardsberg , Germannsberg , Heiligenbrunnmühle , Hof , Kothmühle , Sölling , Steinberg , Windpassing and Wotzing . Ecclesiastically, the main place of the community was Denkhof. On June 7, 1882, the Denkhof branch was built. Construction of the new church began in 1912 and the foundation stone was laid on April 9, 1912. On June 1, 1921, the Denkhof Expositur was elevated to a parish. In the course of the regional reform in Bavaria , the former municipality of Nirschling with all 13 parts of the municipality was incorporated into Büchlberg. At the 1987 census, the hamlet had seven buildings with living space and 33 residents. In 2017 there were eight buildings in the village with living space.
