Jon Jerde
Jon Adams Jerde (born January 22, 1940 in Alton (Illinois) ; † February 9, 2015 in Brentwood (Los Angeles) ) was an American architect .
Jerde graduated from the University of Southern California's USC School of Architecture . He started to work at Charles Kober Associates, where he worked on various projects, including: a. the Paseo Colorado shopping mall in Pasadena, California .
Jerde founded The Jerde Partnership , which specializes in the construction of shopping centers around the world. His company expanded over the years and had offices in Los Angeles , Hong Kong , Shanghai , Seoul , Amsterdam and Dubai . Over the years Jerde has been responsible for numerous projects and has played a key role (see table)
