Nisse Lüneburg (born September 25, 1988 in Hetlingen , Schleswig-Holstein ) is a German show jumper.

Born as the son of Jan and Karin Lüneburg, he attended the Ludwig-Meyn-Gymnasium in Uetersen and climbed into the saddle early, like his six-year-old brother Rasmus. In 2006 he and Little Lord won the warm-up test at the German Show Jumping and Dressage Derby in Hamburg , with this victory he achieved his breakthrough. Only a week later he won the Wedel Grand Prix . He won bronze in the junior championship and was the last rider to secure the team competition for Schleswig-Holstein at the Salut Festival in Aachen . Since graduating from Ludwig-Meyn-Gymnasium, he has been a professional rider and moved to Wolfgang Herz's Magdalenenhof in Wedel, where he still works as a rider to this day.

In October 2010, Lüneburg won the state championships of Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg with Calle Cool , which he had recently taken over from Carsten-Otto Nagel . In January 2011 Nisse Lüneburg won his first international Grand Prix with Calle Cool in Neustadt (Dosse) and relegated the European team champion Janne Friederike Meyer to second place. In May he finished seventh in the German show jumping and dressage derby in Klein Flottbek . In the same year he won the bronze medal at the state championships in Bad Segeberg and also won the Schleswig-Holstein Grand Prix.

In May 2012 he won the 83rd German Jumping Derby in Hamburg with Calle Cool . In May 2013 he competed in the Nations Cup in Copenhagen , where he and Westbridge were the only German to remain without mistakes.

At the beginning of June 2014 he won the 85th German Jumping Derby in Hamburg again with Calle Cool , and in 2017 he came third in this test in the saddle of Cordillo . In the Grand Prix of Saxony, an S *** class jumping competition with a winning round in the Chemnitz Arena , he finished second with Cadensky in 2015 and won a year later with Westbridge . At the beginning of August 2017, Lüneburg and Westbridge won the Grand Prix of the Equestrian City of Verden, the highlight of the CSI 2 * there. Herning turned out to be a good place for Nisse Lüneburg and Luca Toni : In October 2018 they finished third in the Grand Prix of a CSI 3 *, in March 2019 they came back to the same result in a CSI 3 *.

At the 90th German Jumping Derby in 2019, Lüneburg again competed with Cordillo in Hamburg , where he won his third derby. A fortnight later he and Luca Toni finished sixth in the men's ranking of the German championships . In front of his home crowd he and Alina won the Grand Prix of the Breitenburger Reitertage 2019, a jumping competition in the S *** class. In addition to Hamburg, Nisse Lüneburg also won the Riders Tour stage in Paderborn , which at the end of the season brought him the overall victory and thus the title " Rider of the year ".
