No No No is a song by the US girl group Destiny’s Child from 1997. The piece is an R&B song with hip-hop and rap elements and was the first single from their debut album Destiny’s Child .

The song was produced by Vincent Herbert , Rob Fusari and Wyclef Jean . The original version (Part 1) and the remix version with Wyclef Jean (Part 2) reached the top ten of the UK Top 40 and the Billboard Hot 100 in the USA, where it was awarded platinum by the RIAA .

No, No, No debuted at number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100 on November 29, 1997 and reached number 3 after 18 weeks. It reached number 1 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales Charts and the Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks Charts for two weeks. The single reached number 5 on the British charts on March 28, 1998 and was in the British charts for a total of eight weeks.

The single has sold over 146,000 units in the UK and over a million units worldwide. In 1998 the song won two Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards for Best R & B / Soul Single by a Group, Band or Duo and Best R & B / Soul or Rap New Artist .

Music video

In the music video for Part 2 , Wyclef Jean plays on his guitar and Destiny's Childs sing and dance to it. When Wyclef Jean stops, he says “All we need to do is drop a fat beat for the clubs.” The group then starts a dance choreography in a large hall. In 1998 a music video for Part 1 was recorded. In the video, Wyclef and the group are in a night club . The video starts with Wyclef and the group on a stage where they sing, dance and rap until the end of the video.
