Destiny Fulfilled is the fourth and final studio album of American R & B - girl group Destiny's Child . It was in November 2004 at her record label Columbia Records / Sony Urban released.

history

After a break in which the group members released solo albums - Beyoncé had already announced this break during the recording of Survivor - Destiny's Child returned with their next studio album Destiny Fulfilled . On this album, the members contributed equally to the production and songwriting. To promote the album, the group went on the Destiny Fulfilled ... And Lovin 'It tour , during which they announced their breakup.

Before that, there had been rumors about the breakup of the group after the success of Beyoncé's solo album Dangerously in Love . During the production of Destiny Fulfilled it became increasingly clear that after the album they would part ways. However, according to the announcement by the group members, the group still had “something to offer” musically.

Success and Awards

The album debuted at number 19 on the Billboard 200 album chart and then climbed to number two. In Germany it reached number three in the charts, in Great Britain it reached number five. Destiny Fulfilled has been awarded triple platinum certification by the RIAA . While Destiny's Child couldn't win a Grammy for the album, it did win a number of other awards, including three World Music Awards , three Billboard Music Awards, and two American Music Awards .
