WWE (2015-2020)

NXT (2015-2018)

In April 2015, it was reported that Valenzuela had signed a deal with WWE. On April 10, 2015, Valenzuela was announced as one of 11 new signings for training at the WWE Performance Center . Valenzuela, who initially fought under his real name, made his first appearance at NXT as a reinforcement talent. In a tag team match with Elias Samson , he lost to American Alpha ( Jason Jordan & Chad Gable ). Valenzuela then appeared regularly in NXT house shows for the rest of 2015 and early 2016 .

In April 2016, vignettes started for the official TV debut of Valenzuela, who has now been announced as the dance-loving No Way Jose . He made his first official appearance as No Way Jose on April 20, 2016 in a match against Alexander Wolfe . On the June 22nd episode of NXT, Jose Austin interrupted Aries during his behind-the-scenes interview and said that Aries should be more positive after his loss on NXT TakeOver: The End . Later that episode, Jose defeated Josh Woods . Aries also came into the ring and ended up dancing with Jose, but then he attacked Jose by surprise. A few weeks later, Jose attacked Aries after his match on the July 20 NXT episode, which eventually resulted in a match on NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II . This encounter was able to win Aries, which meant the end of their feud .

As a result, Jose entered into a feud with Eric Young and the SAnitY stable when he confronted her after they disrupted a match between Rich Swann and Kona Reeves . This led to an attack on Jose. In the NXT episode on November 30th, Jose lost a match to Eric Young, in the next NXT episode on December 7th, Jose and Rich Swann lost a tag team match against Eric Young and Alexander Wolfe. Despite these defeats, Jose continued to feud with SAnitY and briefly formed a three tag team with Tye Dillinger and Roderick Strong . He was supposed to compete with Dillinger, Strong and Ruby Riott on NXT TakeOver: Orlando against SanitY , but was previously attacked by them. He was then replaced by Kassius Ohno in the match that SAnitY won.

Raw (2018-present)

In the first episode from Raw to WWE WrestleMania 34 on April 9, 2018, No Way Jose made the main roster debut in which he defeated local talent John Skyler in a squash match . He then started a feud with Baron Corbin , whom he surprisingly defeated on April 30 after Titus O'Neil intervened in the match. In a triple threat match between him, Corbin and Bobby Roode in the Raw episode on May 14, 2018, he was unable to qualify for the ladder match for the Money In The Bank suitcase. However, he began a feud with Mojo Rawley , but Jose lost it with several defeats. After that, Jose only had sporadic appearances on Raw and was mainly used in the WWE Main Event .

On January 27, 2019, he took part in the Royal Rumble match , but was eliminated by Samoa Joe after just 2 seconds . His last TV appearance for WWE was on April 13, 2020 on Raw when he was defeated by Bobby Lashley . On April 15, 2020, he and numerous other people were fired from the WWE as part of savings due to the Covid-19 pandemic .
