Norbert Hochreutener (born June 10, 1946 in Niedergösgen ; resident in Eggersriet ) is a Swiss journalist and politician ( CVP ).

Life

Hochreutener studied law at the University of Bern and graduated with a licentiate . He worked as an editor of the Bundestag for Radio DRS and Television DRS . Since 1995 he has been head of Public Affairs at the Swiss Insurance Association .

He was elected to the National Council for the Canton of Bern in the 2003 elections. In the elections on October 23, 2011 , he was not re-elected because his party had lost the seat of the National Council. Hochreutener was already a member of the National Council from 1995 to 1999.

In 2007, Hochreutener submitted a parliamentary initiative on the family article as the constitutional basis for family policy, which was voted on March 3, 2013 as a federal vote on family policy . With a motion he gave the impetus for the construction and financing of a 4-meter corridor for rail freight traffic on the access routes to the Neat.

Together with Heinz Ramstein he wrote several thrillers: Dubach sees red , Dubach offside and Dubach in power poker and more.

Hochreutener is married, has two children and lives in Wabern .
