Norbert Lücke (born October 22, 1950 ) is a former German soccer player and club chairman.

Career

Norbert Lücke came from the Mülheim club 1. FC Styrum and strengthened Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the first season in the top German division. He played in the seasons 1969/70 and 1970/71 in the Bundesliga and came as a striker in total to eleven inserts without a goal. After working in the then second-class Regionalliga West at SC Viktoria Cologne to gap 1972 in Westphalia amateur division concluded DSC Wanne-Eickel to, for whom he played until 1987, interrupted only in the 1974-75 season, the gap in the Verbandsliga Mittelrhein for Bayer 04 Leverkusen played.

Under coach Günter Luttrop , Norbert Lücke led the Wanne-Eickeler team around the young Ralf Regenbogen and Roland Kosien to the championship in the Westphalia Association in the 1977/78 season . In the following round of promotion , the DSC prevailed against VfL Wolfsburg and 1. SC Göttingen 05 and made it into the 2. Bundesliga North . In the 1978/79 and 1979/80 seasons , Lücke came to Wanne-Eickel, also partly as a midfielder , on 64 missions with 32 goals scored in the 2nd Bundesliga North, where he was not substituted once in his 64 missions, but was always in the starting XI. Some players of the DSC Wanne-Eickel did not like the union of the two 2nd leagues, including Norbert Lücke, as this would have meant full profit and they did not want to give up their other job, so the team was relegated. Lücke was the captain of the DSC and remained loyal to the club even after relegation to the Oberliga Westfalen until 1987.

Norbert Lücke was the first chairman of the DSC Wanne-Eickel for several years.
