Norbert Pascha (born August 18, 1981 in Dresden ) is a former German ice hockey goalkeeper who has been working as an ice hockey trainer since he retired .

Career

He started playing ice hockey with the Dresdner Eislöwen , but then moved to Bayreuth due to better opportunities and an apprenticeship. There he was able to refine his skills and was convincing in the missions as a backup. Since the 2003 season he has been back in the Dresdner Eislöwen squad - initially he shared the goal with Boris Ackers (who now plays for the Frankfurt Lions ), then he was the backup of Iiro Itämies and Marek Mastič .

His contract was extended in April 2006 to 2007, but he was initially not used in the 2006/07 season . As a result of the injury to regular goalkeeper Mastič, Norbert Pascha got some missions in November and December. Due to the achievements shown, he was elected player of the day several times , including the game against the Kassel Huskies (1: 2 defeat after penalty shoot-out ) and his first Bundesliga shut-out on December 10, 2006 against ESV Kaufbeuren . The ice lions were relegated to the league at the end of the season, but Pascha extended his contract for another year. Behind Michal Mařík , he was again rarely used and thought about a club change during the season. After the rise of the ESCD he signed a contract with the Saale Bulls from Halle . At the end of the 2010/2011 season, however, his contract was not extended there.

From 2012 Pascha worked as a trainer, first at EHV Schönheide 09 , later at the Harzer Falken and ESV Kaufbeuren . In the 2018/2019 season he was the head coach of the FASS Berlin regional league team.
