Northeast Division (NHL)
The Northeast Division was one of the divisions of the National Hockey League from 1993 to 2013 . In the division played the teams that are located near the eastern Canadian-American border. The Northeast Division was founded after the league expansion in 1993 as the successor to the Adams Division and dissolved two decades later after a restructuring of the divisions before the 2013/14 NHL season .
