The Nostag 10 is a sea pontoon built in China in 2008 .
history
The Nostag 10 was built in 2008 under the construction number SF0161 by the Chinese shipyard Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering Co. Ltd. built as a pontoon for the North German submarine cable works in Nordenham . The keel was laid on April 7th, the launch on April 26th, 2008. The completion took place on July 25, 2008. Subsequently, the Nostag 10 was transferred to Germany and equipped in spring 2009 for its task as a cable layer. She was baptized on May 19, 2009 in Nordenham.
The sea pontoon was organized by the Hans Schramm & Sohn Tugging Brunsbüttel bereedert . Home port was Brunsbüttel . The sea pontoon was classified by the classification society as a "Sea Barge with Accommodation, non self propelled" and classified as a special vehicle by the See-Berufsgenossenschaft .
The end of 2017 which was Nostag 10 aboard the Dockwise - semi-submersible ship Triumph shipped to Indonesia, where it is used for laying Telekommunikationsseekabeln.

The pontoon was designed and built for various tasks as a work ship with a focus on offshore cable laying and has received the GL A 5 Barge - GL A-MC class. Depending on the equipment, it can be used as a cable lay, as a transport barge, as a living ship or for use in hydraulic engineering. For this purpose, the barge was equipped with a fixed living module for 40 people in double and single cabins. There are also rooms for offices, a mess , galley and corresponding lounges. The fire extinguishing equipment in the deckhouse consists of an automatic sprinkler system . As a cable layer specializing in the laying of submarine energy cables for offshore wind farms and island connections, the Nostag 10 was equipped with three diesel generators (2 × 1000 kVA , 1 × 410 kVA, 400 V voltage , 50 Hz ) and an emergency power generator . Hydraulic systems are available for three units each to operate the mooring winches in the fore and aft. A mooring system with a total of six winches and anchors , an anchor post and basic equipment are available for the work as a cable laying system. The basic equipment can be individually upgraded and converted according to the respective tasks.
Two lifeboats for 40 people each and four life rafts for 20 people each are available as rescue equipment.
The cable layer is designed for continuous use of around 56 days. It has tanks with around 350 t of fuel and around 500 t of drinking water.
