Novosedly (German Nebosedl ) is a district of the municipality Pšov in the Czech Republic . It is located six kilometers north of Manětín and belongs to the Okres Karlovy Vary .

geography

Novosedly is located in the Tepler highlands on the right side of the brook Hrádecký potok. To the west rises the Návrší (573 m), behind it lies the Zbraslavský vrch ( Praßleser Berg , 674 m). In the south are the Chlumská hora ( Chlumberg , 650 m) and the Červený vrch (494 m).

Neighboring towns are Kobylé and Kolešov in the north, Močidlec in the north-east, Víska and Stvolny in the east, Hrádek in the south-east, Chlum in the south, Luková and Domašín in the south-west, Zbraslav in the west and Pšov in the north-west.

history

The first written mention of the village comes from 1358. The village was parish after Žlutice .

In 1850, the political community Nebosedl with the district Fieska in the Luditz district was established . In the second half of the 19th century a chapel was built on the village square. In 1890 Nobosedl consisted including the Vorwerkes Fieska of 72 houses and had 414 inhabitants, of whom 408 were members of the German and six of the Czech minority. In 1930 the village had 403 inhabitants. After the Munich Agreement , Nebosedl was added to the German Reich in 1938 and the village belonged to the Luditz district until 1945 . In 1939 Nebosedl had 376 inhabitants. After the end of the Second World War , Kobylé returned to Czechoslovakia and was classified in the Okres Toužim in 1949. On January 1, 1961, it was incorporated into the Okres Karlovy Vary. 1979 Novosedly including Víska was incorporated into Pšov . In 1991 the place had 216 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 37 houses in which 210 people lived.
