Novosilske ( Ukrainian Новосільське ; Russian Новосельское Novoselskoe , Romanian Satu-Nou ) is a village in Budschak in the extreme southwest of Ukraine with about 3500 inhabitants (2006).
In the village founded in 1813 under the name Satul-Nou ( Ukrainian Сатул-Ноу ) , Russian troops crossed the Danube at the beginning of the Russo-Turkish War of 1828/29 on May 27, 1828, in the presence of the Russian Emperor Nicholas I occupy northern Dobruja . The village received its current name in 1947.
Nowosilske is located west of Kuhurluj and Jalpuhsee in Reni district of Odessa Oblast on the M 15 highway between the Reni district center and the city of Ismajil . The Oblastzentrum Odessa is located about 270 kilometers northeast of the village. The Danube , which forms the border between Ukraine and Romania , is about 10 km south of Orlivka .
