Career
At the age of 18, Coelho moved from the local youth club FC Penafiel to neighboring FC Porto , where he played for the reserve team for the first few months in 2005. After he was loaned for a short time to the Portuguese second division club FC Maia , loan deals with Standard Liège , Portimonense SC and CF Estrela Amadora followed in the next three seasons .
