A German comedy film by director Lars Montag from 2007 is just a little pregnant . Stefanie Stappenbeck plays the publishing employee Nina Hedler in the lead role .
action
The professionally committed publishing employee Nina sometimes plays with the idea of having children, but puts this wish on hold because she would rather have a career. She has been asking her boss for a long time to give her the opportunity to carry out her own project with which she wants to make it easier for children to access the German language. She does this not entirely without ulterior motives, because after all she expects the project to be a success for the school book publisher and hopes for a corresponding promotion for herself.
But things turn out differently: one day, news is brought to Nina that the publisher has been sold, her boss has already left the company and the new owner intends to make strict staff cuts. She herself will be affected by the job cuts. Suddenly Nina's stomach becomes very sick. At lightning speed she combines the fact that she spent the previous night with a man she did not know until the day before yesterday. What if the sudden nausea might have something to do with pregnancy? That would be a possibility, and the fact that she is pregnant would of course protect Nina from being dismissed.
In the end, however, this “white lie” puts Nina in dire straits, because she has to realize that the man she spent the night with is her new boss at the publishing house.

Reviews
Rainer Tittelbach takes the view that "... [the film] [creates] a good mood and [...] makes the viewer forget that there is something like common sense". The film critic draws the conclusion: "Romantic cheering".
TV fiction is less euphoric. With a thumb stretched to the side, the program magazine judged: "Based on the French hit movie A man sees pink, the rarely charming TV fairy is dripping with improbabilities". The less than benevolent conclusion there is: "Unfortunately, only a little bit funny".
