Stefanie Höner (born August 2, 1969 in Cologne ) is a German actress .

life and career

Stefanie Höner grew up in Dortmund. After her training at the drama school in Bochum , several theater guest performances and TV roles, she was a permanent member of the ensemble of the Württemberg State Theater Esslingen from 1995 to 1997 . She played at the Hamburger Kammerspiele , the Thalia Theater and the Volksbühne Berlin , among others . In 1999 Stefanie Höner founded the theater group Laborlavache together with the director Christiane Pohle. Her performance Sitzen in Hamburg , an adaptation of the Chekhov play The Three Sisters, was celebrated by the critics and the audience and won several awards (Theater Festival Impulse Prize 2000, Young Talent Award 2001 from the German Academy of Performing Arts and the City of Bensheim). The group's second production, Maxim Gorki's Summer Guests , at the Schauspielhaus Zurich , was also praised.

Stefanie Höner became known to a wider audience through her portrayal of Inka Pietsch in the television series Verliebt in Berlin and Britt Schmitt in girl friends - friendship with heart . In 2009 Stefanie Höner played a leading role in the feature film Barefoot up to the Neck , which was awarded the 2010 Comedy Prize. In 2013 she got the lead role Wencke Müller in the pilot of the ARD series Wenckes Verbrecher from the series Heiter bis tödlich . From 2014 to 2015 Stefanie Höner played Karin Langkamp in a leading role in the series "Josephine Klick - Alone Among Cops" with Diana Amft. In 2018 she played the continuous supporting role Monika Mottke in the series "Milk & Honey".
