action

The well-to-do dentist Michel Leproux buys a record, a rarity, at the flea market. Michel is overjoyed and gives the seller a multiple of the estimated price. He wants to spend his Saturday off enjoying his new record. However, he is constantly disturbed by his family, loved ones, friends and various uninvited guests, which almost drives him crazy.

Reviews

The film service described the film as a “fast-paced comedy in the tabloid style”, which despite “routine direction and representation only partially ignites”. By “concentrating on the pleasurable dismantling of the egotistical main character”, the chances of a “more in-depth discussion of social problems would not be used”. The Hollywood Reporter called it a "classic French comedy" with "some laughs" and "some boredom".
