Nurghali Aeschim

Nurghali Säduaqasuly Äschim ( Kazakh Нұрғали Сәдуақасұлы Әшім , Russian Нургали Садуакасович Ашим ; born October 10, 1959 in Chimkent , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician.

Life

Nurghali Äschim was 1959 in Chimkent born. He graduated from the Institute of Economics and Statistics in Moscow , where he graduated in engineering in 1981. He then worked for two years at the Research Institute of the State Planning Committee of the Kazakh SSR before attending the Graduate School of the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics from 1983 to 1987 .

From 1987 he was the head of the research institute of the State Planning Commission of the Kazakh SSR and from 1990 he was a teacher of the Republican Institute for Personnel Retraining at the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR and a lecturer at the Kazakh Institute of Chemical Technology . After Kazakhstan's independence, he went into politics and became deputy head of the regional administration of South Kazakhstan and chairman of the Territorial Committee on State Property of South Kazakhstan. Between 1996 and 1997 he was head of the regional department of the Kazakh National Bank in South Kazakhstan and then for a few months Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade. Until 1998 he was deputy chairman of the board of the TuranAlem bank and until February 1999 deputy Äkim (governor) of the Qostanai region . From February 1999 to July 2000, he held the post of Mayor of Qostanai City . After that he was Vice President for Trade and Marketing at KazTransGas for a few months , of which he was President from January 2001 to September 2002. On September 2, 2002, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and also Chairman of the Board of Kazatomprom . After about a year in this post, he was appointed Äkim of Western Kazakhstan on November 18, 2003 . From August 28, 2007 he was Äkim in his home region of South Kazakhstan. On March 4, 2009, he was appointed Minister for Environmental Protection in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Kärim Mässimow . He held the post of minister until January 2012. After the parliamentary elections in 2012 , he became a member of the Nur Otan party in the Mäschilis , where he was a member of the Committee on Ecology and Nature.
