Oğuzhan Kefkir (born August 27, 1991 in Wuppertal ) is a German football player of Turkish descent.
Career
Kefkir played for SV Bayer Wuppertal until 2002 , then went through the youth department of the then Bundesliga club VfL Bochum and was taken over in its reserve team in 2009. Kefkir made his debut in the first Bundesliga on April 3, 2010 in the away game against SC Freiburg (1: 1), when he came on for Zlatko Dedič in the 79th minute . Kefkir played one first and eight second division games for VfL. In the summer of 2012 he moved to the second division Alemannia Aachen , for whom he was on the field for the first time on July 20, 2012 under coach Ralf Aussem .
For the 2013/14 season Kefkir joined the U-23 from Borussia Dortmund . He signed a contract until June 30, 2015. In the summer of 2015, the Turkish press announced a move to the Turkish second division club Adana Demirspor . However, this change did not take place later and Kefkir remained without a club. From November 2015 he trained again with the Dortmund Reserve. At the beginning of December he signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2016.
For the following season 2016/17 Kefkir joined the third division club VfR Aalen . There he could not meet the expectations placed on him, however, and was deleted from the squad by coach Peter Vollmann after he had only made seven appearances in the league and two in the association cup in the first half of the season. At the beginning of January 2017, on the day of the training start after the winter break, the club then announced the amicable immediate termination of the contract. At the end of January 2017, he joined the upper division KFC Uerdingen . With the KFC he celebrated the championship of the Oberliga Niederrhein 2016/17 and rose to the regional league, a year later he marched through as a regional league champion in the third division .
For the 2019/20 regional league season , the offensive player signed a two-year contract with Rot-Weiss Essen .
