O͘ o͘

The (lower case o͘) is a letter derived from the Latin letter O , it consists of an O with a dot in the upper right corner . It is used to spell the Pe̍h-ōe-jī transcription in Taiwanese . It can also be combined with tone markings, for example: ò͘ and ō͘.

Presentation on the computer

Unicode does not receive the O͘ as a separate character. It is generated by a normal O in combination with the combining dot above right (U + 0358). Many fonts currently do not support the letter or only poorly, so that there may be some problems with processing on the computer.
