Oberamt is a place and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Gresten-Land in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 187 building areas with 47,481 m² and 100 gardens on 357,090 m² in the cadastral municipality of Oberamt , in 1989/1990 there were 184 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 362 and in 2009/2010 there were 294 buildings on 465 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is shaped by forestry. 961 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 1,178 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 841 hectares and 1,296 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 783 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 1,300 hectares. The average soil climate number of Oberamt is 19.6 (as of 2010).
