Unteramt is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Gresten-Land in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .
Settlement development
At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 257 building areas with 51,163 m² and 263 gardens on 742,911 m² in the cadastral municipality Unteramt , in 1989/1990 there were 248 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 595 and in 2009/2010 there were 434 buildings on 738 building areas.
Land use
The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 894 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 406 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 876 hectares and 478 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry.
