Technical data and equipment

It is powered by two MAN - Diesel engines of the type D2842 LE, each with 440  kW power . The ship is equipped with a bow thruster designed as a pump jet with an output of 80 kW.

The deckhouse is in the front half of the ship. In front of the deckhouse there is an open deck area with the coupling winches required for use as a push boat . Behind the deckhouse is another open deck area. A towing hook is installed here so that the ship can be used as a tug . The bollard pull is 9.5 t. Directly behind the deckhouse is a hydraulic crane that can lift 15 t. There is also a davit on the port side that can be used to launch a workboat.

The range of the ship is around 1,400  nautical miles .

system

The ship is designed as a multi-purpose ship for use as a push tug and oil catcher . The areas of application are the flat sea areas of the North Frisian Wadden Sea and the mouth of the Elbe. The hull is designed so that the ship can fall dry in the Wadden Sea . In addition to the use in the North Frisian Wadden Sea, the ship is also intended for use in the Baltic Sea off the Schleswig-Holstein coast.

The system includes a 30-meter-long oil catch tank barge (Lüttmoor) and a 33-meter-long deck spreader (Gröde) . In combination with the Gröde , the Odin can be used for material transport e.g. B. used in the maintenance of coastal protection systems. The tank barge is equipped with its own drive with an auxiliary diesel with 80 kW power and a pump jet. The tank capacity for oil-water mixtures is 285 t. A brush skimmer is used to combat oil spills . This can be 240 m³ / hour. absorb from the water surface.

The oil catcher / tank barge system has been awarded the “ Blue Angelenvironmental label .
