Oksbøl ( German : Oxbüll ; Sønderjysk or Alsisk : Åwsböl ) is a small Danish town of the municipality of Sonderburg on the island of Als (German: Alsen ) in the Syddanmark region . Before the 2007 municipal reform , Oksbøl was part of Norburg Municipality .
Oksbøl is about three kilometers south of Nordborg ( Norburg ). There are currently 389 people living in the village (as of January 1, 2020) and 752 in the entire parish ( Sogn in Danish ) Oksbøl Sogn .
The Romanesque church has a Gothic steeple and an altarpiece from the 15th century.
