Fynshav (dt. Fünenshaff ) is a port city on the east coast of the Danish island of Als ( dt .: Alsen ).
The city belongs to the parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) Notmark Sogn in the Sønderborg municipality in the region of Syddanmark . Until the Danish administrative reform of 1970 , the city belonged to the Aabenraa-Sønderborg Amt , then to the Augustenborg Municipality in what was then Sønderjyllands Amt , until it merged into the Sønderborg Municipality with the Danish administrative reform of 2007 .
Fynshav has 801 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) and has a yacht , ferry and fishing port . Ferries run several times a day to and from Søby on the island of Ærø and Bøjden on the island of Fyn (Eng .: Fyn ). From September 2019, a fully electric ferry will run regularly to Søby.
