Ola Kristiansson (born September 23, 1971 in Helsingborg ) is a former Swedish tennis player and later tennis coach.

Career

Kristiansson began his professional career in 1990 at a Challenger tournament in Jerusalem , where he was eliminated in the second round against Martin Sinner . In the next few years he had little success in singles and doubles on the ATP Challenger Tour until he made it to the semi-finals of the Bergamo Challenger tournament in 1993 together with Tomas Nydahl . In 1994 he qualified for the Swedish Open , but lost to Andrei Tschesnokow in his first round game . In total, he achieved three double titles at Challenger level with changing partners. He also reached the finals at the Challenger tournament in Tampere in 1994 and 1996. He reached his highest scores in the ATP world rankings in 1993 with place 277 in singles and 1995 with position 123 in doubles.

In Grand Slam tournaments, he was never able to qualify for the main field in an individual. In the doubles competition he reached the round of 16 in 1995 alongside Lars-Anders Wahlgren at the Australian Open and with Mårten Renström at the US Open .

After his playing career, he was the coach of the Danish tennis player Eva Dyrberg .
