Olena Wolodymyriwna Antypina , also Olena Schmelzer ( Ukrainian Олена Володимирівна Антипіна ; born March 19, 1979 in Zaporizhia , Soviet Union ) is a former Ukrainian tennis player .
Career
Antypina preferred the hard courts for her game.
She won one singles and eleven doubles titles in the ITF Women's Circuit during her career . On the WTA Tour she was first seen in the main field at the Tashkent Open 2002 , together with Wolha Barabanschtschykawa in doubles. They lost their first round match against Elizabeth Schmidt / Anousjka van Exel 6: 4, 2: 6 and 4: 6.
