Wolha Barabanschtschykawa ( Belarusian Вольга Барабаншчыкава ; born November 2, 1979 in Minsk ) is a former Belarusian tennis player .

Career

From 1996 to 2003 she played for the Belarusian Fed Cup team , for which she won 33 of her 50 games.

Her greatest success was fourth place in the doubles competition at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney on the side of Natallja Swerawa . She had already participated in the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta with Swerawa and reached the second round.

In 2000 she was also in the singles round of 16 at Wimbledon , it was her best result in a Grand Slam tournament .

Her last appearance on the professional tour was in March 2004 at an ITF tournament in St. Petersburg.
