Women's doubles at the 1996 Summer Olympics .

The defending champions were Gigi Fernández and Mary Joe Fernández , who defended their title against Jana Novotná and Helena Suková in straight sets. In the bronze medal match, Conchita Martínez and Arantxa Sánchez Vicario won in three sets against Manon Bollegraf and Brenda Schultz-McCarthy .
