At the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore , two badminton competitions were held from August 15 to 19, 2010 . The competitions took place in the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Game play and schedule
First, the 32 qualified players (divided into boys and girls) were divided into eight preliminary round groups of four players each, of which only the group winner reached the final round, which started with the quarter-finals. The preliminary round matches were played on August 15 and 16. The final round was played in a knockout system and took place from August 17th to 19th.
