At the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires , a total of three triathlon competitions were held from October 7th to 11th .

Olympic champion in the boys was Dylan McCullough from New Zealand with a total time of 53:27 minutes. Amber Schlebusch from South Africa won the girls gold medal with a total time of 58:45 minutes.
